An entrepreneur and technologist with over 30 patents, Neal began his career in the aerospace industry working on the Apollo program. His work turned to R&D and commercial laser applications which led to an early stage company developing color laser printing technology. Nealthen co-founded T/R Systems, an Atlanta based company that launched multiple products for document management and production. That company went public in 2000. Following the sale of T/R Systems in 2003, Nealretired and subsequently founded Harbor East Associates with a focus on machine learning and analytics applied to fin–tech.
