Mike Kohlsdorf is the Founder and President of Francisco Partners Consulting (FPC), a separate operating sector of Francisco Partners. He is also the Co-Chairman of the Portfolio Committee and joined Francisco Partners (FP) as an Operating Partner in March of 2011. FP has raised $45 billion in committed capital and invested in more than 300 technology companies, making it one of the most active and longstanding investors in the technology industry. FP was recently crowned 2020 & 2021 1st and 2nd money maker in HEC-Dow Jones Private Equity Performance Ranking. Today Mike manages an organization of over 40 Operating Partners and Advisors, the development and deployment of operating best practices and serving as an operating coach as well as interim-CEO for FP’s portfolio companies. He has served as CEO for eight FP portfolio companies and Executive Chairman of two.

Prior to joining FPC Mike was President, CEO and a Board Member of Aderant.  Mike joined Aderant in October of 2006 and successfully sold the Company in October of 2008. Mike remained President, CEO and a Board Member of Aderant until February of 2011.

Prior to Aderant, Mike was a Senior Vice President of Enterprise Services and Corporate Officer of IKON Office Solutions (NYSE: IKON).  IKON Enterprise Services consists of Software and Professional Services, Outsourcing Services (Managed Services and Legal Document Services) and Customer Services. Previously, Mike was President and CEO of T/R Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRSI).  In 2003, T/R Systems, a Deloitte & Touche “Technology Fast 500 Company” from 1999-2002, was sold to Electronics for Imaging.  Mike has had an active role in executive management for over thirty years in private and publicly held software companies including eight years at IBM.

Mike holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and is currently a member of several technology companies Board of Directors.
